Privacy notice

This notice explains what AZ Joinery does with the details you give us through this website, by email or by phone.

Who we are

AZ Joinery is responsible for your details. You can contact us about this notice at info@azjoinery.co.uk or on 0800 061 4733.

What we collect

When you use the quote form we receive your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and project location. We also receive the type of work and what you tell us about your project. If you email or call us, we receive the details you choose to share.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to you, discuss your project, arrange a visit and prepare a quote. Our lawful basis is that you have asked us to take these steps before a possible contract. If you become a customer, we keep the records needed to carry out the work and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for marketing.

How the form works

The form sends your message as an email to our inbox. Our website and email are run by our hosting provider, who processes this data for us. To block spam, the form also keeps a security log. It holds a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address and the domain part of your email address.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry only as long as we need it to deal with your request. If the work goes ahead, we keep the project records for as long as the law requires. Security log entries are kept only as long as needed to stop abuse.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Email info@azjoinery.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
